What is our goal?
We seek guidance from Allah in our daily prayers. We, especially our youth, are in desperate need of guidance due to the overwhelming distractions around us. At this critical juncture, mere supplications are not sufficient to build the foundation of the next generation of Muslims. Therefore, there is a definitive need of a Quranic enlightening mechanism for the Muslims. With that objective in mind, Tawheed Foundation spearheaded the initiative of establishing a center where Muslims will feel welcome to take part in various religious, educational and recreational activities. It is a long overdue endeavor which will build the foundation of the next generation of Muslims based on authentic sources. May Allah guide us.
Where are we currently?
Tawheed Foundation for Knowledge & Development Inc is a Not-For-Profit entity incorporated in the State of New York which is exempt from federal income tax under Internal Revenue Code (IRC) 501©(3) as public charity. Consequently, any contribution is fully tax deductible. Currently we have tele-conferences facilitating Islamic lectures by religious scholars where hundreds of sisters from North America take part. We support many other activities, such as live lectures in different Islamic centers, recorded YouTube lectures, charitable activities worldwide, etc. To accommodate our activities in a more profound manner, we intend to rent a location in the immediate future with the vision of a permanent establishment.
What can you do to help?
Any form of support to strengthen the base of this ummah is a lifetime charity (sadaqah jariyah). You can support by taking responsibility in management, finance, teaching and many other roles.
